BLANDFORD — September 25, 2023 — Blandford Select Board adopts snow and ice policy, backs cloud-finance software grant. The board voted unanimously Monday to approve a new snow and ice management policy establishing a tiered plowing priority system, with Town Administrator TJ Rodgers and Highway Superintendent Dave Seccombe clarifying that the tiers reflect priority rather than a rigid route sequence. The board also unanimously backed a Community Compact grant application for cloud-based municipal finance software, with one vendor quoting a one-time cost of roughly $60,000 and ongoing operating costs projected at about half the town's current expenditure; the application is due October 13.
